JAMES LAWRENCE GRIEVE On February 25, 2011 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Jim Grieve, aged 66 years, of Winnipeg and formerly of Selkirk. Jim was born in Selkirk on September 17, 1944 and had lived most of his life there until moving to Winnipeg. He had worked for the Tribune and Free Press and was involved with the Steelers organization for many years. Jim was a kind and caring person who enjoyed teasing his nieces. He leaves surviving two sisters, Audrey Johnson (Len) and Norma Froese, nieces, Cathy (and her children Michael and Caley), Janice, Nancy and Angie, and nephew Gordie. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the Knox Presbyterian Church, Selkirk with Rev. Anthon Bouw officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in the St. Clements Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements. |
