MAXIE MALCOLM ARNOTT Suddenly, after an untimely accident; it is with great regret that we announce the death of Maxie Malcolm Arnott of Winnipeg, on February 27, 2011 at a friend's home, at the age of 60 years. Will be lovingly remembered by sons Jason Maxie Arnott, Stevie-Ray Reid, daughter Holly Reid, stepdaughter Leora Reid, brothers Arthur Arnott, Joe Seymour, sisters Gladys Redsky, Bernice Seymour, Annette Frobb, and Norah Warren. Predeceased by parents Bernice and Malcolm Arnott. Max was born in Kenora, ON, October 18, 1950 then moved to the Yukon, lived in Destruction Bay until 1957, Somerset, MB and grew up in the north end of Winnipeg, MB. He enjoyed playing basketball in high school and won the city championships under coach Robert Lee. Max loved music and played guitar in his bands, Bad Habit and the Red River Rockets for several years before becoming a father then later settling down with longtime significant other Colleen DeKelver in Sioux Lookout, ON. Funeral Service 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Thomson Funeral Home. Officiating Elder-Darren Courchene Place of Interment - Burial Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at Brookside Cemetery.
