ANNE GISCOME MAXWELL NUTTER (published on March 05, 2011)

ANNE GISCOME MAXWELL NUTTER Of Schoolcraft, MI formerly of Winnipeg and Montreal Canada. Died on March 2, 2011 at the home of her daughter. Anne was born on March 11, 1916 in Winnipeg, Canada, the daughter of Archibald and Cecilia (Wallace) Campbell. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Stuart in 1996 and her two sisters, Cecilia Feilde and Elizabeth Broughton. Anne is survived by a daughter, Sanny Nutter and a son, Christopher Nutter and his two children: Johanna and Jesse Nutter; several nieces and nephews including, special niece, Susan Bethune and nephew, Jimmy Feilde. Anne had a beautiful voice. She sang opera, Broadway music and jazz all her life, giving Sanny and Christopher a deep love of music. She had a depth of wisdom and beauty that touched the hearts of all who met her. Anne will be remembered by a bright smile that could light up the night of a dark and fearsome storm. She will be sorely missed by those who knew her who are left with the memories of a rich and rewarding closeness with her. Christopher said, I have learned her secret - to wit, an abiding and unshakeable faith. There is no other food like it. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 7415 Oakland Dr., Portage, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of SW Michigan or Jehovah's Witnesses. Arrangements by Redmond Funeral Home 4100 S.
