| ANNE DANYLUK (nee YANKEWICZ) Peacefully, on Monday, September 5, 2011, after a short Illness, Anne Danyluk (Yankewicz) passed away at the age of 89, at Victoria Hospital. Anne was predeceased by her husband Peter in 2001. She is survived by her brother Walter Yankewicz and sister Helen Nahorny and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Anne happily resided at Lindenwood Manor since its opening and made many friends there. She was particularly adept at tatting and took much pride in sewing and knitting clothing for her family. She also enjoyed making clothing for various children's charities. Anne enjoyed spending time with her husband Peter, seeing many different shows at Rainbow Stage, and visiting different pavilions each year at Folklorama. She also enjoyed travelling with Peter in Europe, the highlight being the 50th Anniversary Celebration on Normandy Beach, celebrating D-Day. A private family service will be held. A Come and Go reception in Anne's honour will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Reception Centre, 4477 Main Street.
