RONALD MAKL (published on September 07, 2011)

RONALD MAKL It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Ronald Wayne Makl on Friday morning September 2, 2011. Ron is predeceased by parents Frank and Sally Makl, brothers Frank, Freddie and Bobby. He will always be greatly remembered by wife Catherine, sons Calvin and Keith (Farrah), daughter Amanda (Stephen), grandsons Matthew and Joshua, sisters Betty, Debbie (Doug) and Shirley. He will be missed by many family members and friends. Born in Winnipeg, raised in Roland Manitoba, Ron always lived life to the fullest and could not wait for the next adventure to begin. He touched the life of everyone he crossed with the special flame he always carried within. His career first began as a welder with Bristol Aerospace, and in the following years he moved on to become an owner/operator at Building Products and finished as a gravel hauler with Inland Aggregates. Each new career brought so many new friends into his life. He loved hunting, fishing, golfing, fixing classic cars and being surrounded by friends and the ones he loved. The family would like to thank all the doctors and staff at the Health Science Centre for wonderful care given to Ron throughout the final hours. A memorial service is to be held Saturday September 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Following the service, all family and friends will be welcome at Keith Makl's to celebrate Ron's life and share a final farewell. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. We will miss you forever Dad and loved you so much. You touched our hearts and we are proud to have had you in our lives. Hon, I will forever love you and hold you in my heart. Thank you for sharing your life with me. Thank you for all the amazing memories along the cherished road. Always and always my love xoxo. Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow" -Helen Keller 85-6-9 CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
