TERESITA (TESSIE) CARMONA ANCHETA March 21, 1955 - September 6, 2011 It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of our most beautiful and most beloved, wife, mother, grandmother (Nanay), sister, niece and friend, Tessie Ancheta. After a courageous three year battle with ovarian cancer, Tess passed away peacefully at her home in Calgary, AB on September 6, 2011 at the age of 56. Tessie was born and raised in Candaba, Pangpanga, Philippines. Tessie spent most of her life in Winnipeg, MB where she was known for her artistic hands as a popular and hardworking hairdresser. Along with a significant social network she enjoyed her spare time with her husband dancing with ODC. Later in years she joined her daughters in Calgary, AB. As Tessie continues on with her journey to the Heavenly Gates, she will be so sadly missed by her loving husband Dominador Ancheta, of 35 years; daughter Michele Ancheta Cacatian (Joseph), grandsons, Dominick, Jovan and Rylend; daughter Miriam Mimi Ancheta Pascual (Rheycel), grandchildren, Kyle, Davyn and Mya; brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws that reside in the different places around the world but mostly in the Philippines. Tess will be now joining her parents, Jose Carmona and Juana Evangelista Carmona. Tessie and her family would like to express our most heartfelt gratitude to everyone who was involved in her beautiful life. Special thanks to Terry Guevara (sister-in-law), who as a family member and nurse travelled here to care for Tessie and her family in her final days; sister Lita, niece Mylene and grand-nephew and niece, Dillon and Kate who joined her in final goodbye. Special thanks to Connie Chung for her care, giving her the quality of life she requested. A very special thanks to the South Palliative Care team who made her and her family comfortable and at peace. Words cannot describe how your team impacted our lives at a time like this; Dr. Vangoor, Dr. Ghataghe and the team at the Tom Baker Centre, doctors and nurses at the Foothills Hospital in Unit 42; Father Andrew, ODC who resides in Winnipeg for your undying support and love, and friends who made her a home away from home by their unconditional love and support.
