ELSE WEISSBRODT (published on September 13, 2011)

ELSE WEISSBRODT April 4, 1931 - September 10, 2011 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loving Aunt Else on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the age of 80. Else was born in Ennigloh, Germany and was predeceased by her stepfather Gustav, mother Lina, and her brother Heinz Dammann, also her brother-in-law Edmund, nephew Manfred and great-nephew Jamie. She is survived by her husband Oswald, of 57 years, her sister-in-law Lydia from Germany, her nieces Gundi Lachance (Mel), Claudia Timlick (Cameron), and her nephews Ingy Roth (Diana) and John Roth (Brenda) also numerous great-nephews, nieces and close friends. Else worked for Western Glove for many years until her retirement. In her earlier years, her husband and her enjoyed going to their friend's cottage to fish and play cards. Else's greatest enjoyment was her day spent at the casino. Else will be deeply missed by her husband Oswald and will leave a massive void in the lives of her family and friends. Funeral Service to be held on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Pallbearers will be her nephews Ingy, John, and Cameron and great-nephews Jeffrey, Terry and Cory. Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the home care staff for their special care given to our aunt and also the care given by the St. Boniface General Hospital.
