AILEEN KOCH September 28, 1971 - September 11, 2011 It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of our most beautiful and most beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, after a two year battle with stomach cancer, Aileen passed away, at the age of 39, on September 11, 2011. Aileen was born to Rogelio and Angelita Rosales on September 28, 1971 in Lipa City, Philippines. She moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba on November 29, 1974 at the age of three. Aileen gave her life to the LORD at an early age, but rededicated her life to him as her personal Saviour later in life. She loved and kept her faith in JESUS until the day he called her home. Aileen attended John M. King Elementary, General Wolfe Jr. High, Maples Collegiate High School and the University of Manitoba where she received her Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Industrial). Aileen first worked at Princess Auto in Winnipeg then moved to Calgary, Alberta in 1995 where she worked for Nortel for over 10 years. In 2006 to 2007 she worked for Lloydminster Maintenance as an engineer. In 2007 she moved to Bakersfield where she continued her career in engineering at Chevron, until she became ill. Aileen was married to the love of her life, Allan Andrew Koch on October 11, 1998, and to that union two children were born Justin and Jasmine. Her family was the most important part of her life. She cherished her family, her loving husband Allan who stood by her side through it all, her son Justin who she adored, her special little girl Jasmine, who she adored also. Aileen had a loving and generous heart, she loved to be around family and friends. Those who knew her loved her, she touched the hearts of many. Viewing will be held Thursday, September 15, 2011 and Friday, September 16, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial to be held Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward's Church, 818 Arlington Street. Reception immediately following service at Glen Eden Funeral Home.
