THERESA ANN RICHARD (published on September 27, 2011)

THERESA ANN RICHARD (nee NAULT) Theresa Ann Richard, known to family and friends as Terri, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 23, 2011, surrounded by her loved ones and in the comfort of God's hands. Terri was born January 13, 1945 in Winnipeg and was the eldest of seven sisters. She was predeceased by her father, Jules, in 1948, her mother Olga, in 2006 and her sister Heather in 1960. Terri will be deeply missed by her husband of 36 years, Marcel; her children, Jules, Kim (Terry) and Pernell; grandchildren Vince, Ashley, Taelan, Ray, Dale and Nikki: her sisters Sharron (Dennis), Valerie (Rob), Tami (Dave), Kathy (Mike) and Radha; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to express sincere thanks to Mickie Nelson of Edmonton and Sharron Harris of Winnipeg for all their help and support during this difficult time. We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to Northland Ready Mix/Perimeter Concrete for their understanding and support during Terri's illness. Without their compassion, Marcel would not have been able to spend as much quality time with his beloved wife. Terri will be remembered for her love of family, her kindness and generosity and her desire for peace and harmony for all who were part of her life. If you ever needed to know the date of someone's birthday or an event, all you had to do was call Terri; she never forgot a birthday or anniversary and everyone was remembered with a phone call or a card. On behalf of Terri, her family would like to extend many thanks to CancerCare at Health Sciences Centre and all the volunteers, especially Mel, who always treated her with care and kindness during her many visits there. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit 3 East at Riverview Health Centre for their extraordinary acts of compassion and care extended to Terri, her family and friends. Marcel, Kim and Pernell will be forever grateful. A private service will be held at a later date. You give us hope and consolation You give us strength to carry on You're always there to lend a hand In everything we do That's the wonder The wonder of you We will always love and cherish you God be with you until we meet again.
