JUDY VALERIE BERARD It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful and most beloved Wife, Mom, Mama, Sister (in-law), Auntie and friend, Judy Valerie Berard (Bodnar). After a short and sudden battle with cancer, Mom passed away peacefully at the age of 62 on September 26, 2011 at St. Boniface Hospital. Left to forever cherish Judy's memory are her husband of 44 years, Eddie; children Michelle (Johnny) of Sioux Lookout, ON, and Michael (Maliry) of Winnipeg; grandchildren Jocelyn (Eric), Colin and Oliver; great-grandson Mylo, sister Connie, brother Vern, nieces, nephews and her fur-baby Bentley. She also leaves to mourn the Berard family whom she loved so dearly. Judy was predeceased by her parents William and Anne Bodnar; mother and father-in-law Antoine and Lea Berard, and brothers Don and Bernie Bodnar. Mom touched the hearts of many people. her laughter, friendliness and sense of humour is to be remembered by all. She showed great love and compassion to her family and friends. She had a great knowledge of canning, baking, gardening and shopping. Mom treasured her many friends who she considered her family by heart and could make anyone feel welcome in her life and in her home. Words cannot describe the care, love and compassion that Judy showed throughout her life. We, the family, would like to thank the staff of 5E at St. Boniface Hospital for the continuous care and compassion shown to our mother.
